Apple Releases 2019 iPod Touch

Apple just announced their new, 2019 iPod Touch, with capacities of 32 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. Powered by the Apple-designed A10 Fusion chip, not only does it have plenty of space, but plenty of power for games. As someone who has just stored around 50GB of TIDAL music offline on my phone, the new 256 GB storage option is welcome news, especially as it is readily possible to sync high-res music from iTunes. new iPod Touch will also be welcome news for users of software such as Onkyo’s HFPlayer that want to listen to, and/or up-sample to DSD connected to DAC or DAC/amp, but don’t want to use their iPhone to do so.

Prices for the new iPod touch are $199 (US) for the 32GB model, $299 (US) for the 128GB model and $399 (US) for the 256GB model.
